Lavender Hill Riverhead offers a truly heavenly experience. the warm, genuine welcome from Trish immediately sets the tone for a wonderful stay. the comfortable bedrooms with ensuites and quality linen provide a restful night's sleep. the well-appointed kitchen and attractive dining and living areas are perfect for relaxation. the farm tour and talk/tasting offer a fascinating insight into the lavender production. Plus, who can resist the charm of the alpacas? the breakfast provisions are excellent, with generous amounts of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt.
The only downside is occasional noise from neighboring properties in the late afternoon.

Despite the hype around this place, our experience was somewhat mediocre during our Easter holiday. However, the breakfast available in the pantry was quite good, and the location was decently placed to explore the surrounding area. The house itself had a nice aesthetic.
The beds were a huge letdown, too soft for our liking, and we almost had to double up with our children to feel at all comfortable. , the ambiance of the hotel was heavily impacted by the poor air quality, which was noticeable from the moment we arrived and left us feeling quite disheartened.

Spending Christmas at this beautiful B&B was amazing! the location was perfect, with lush hills and panoramic views. We enjoyed watching the alpacas and sheep grazing in the fields. the breakfast provisions were excellent, with a range of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants. We also loved the fact that the owners catered for gluten intolerance, which was great for my partner who has celiac disease. the kitchen was well-appointed, and the living and dining areas were very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
That there was no herbal tea available, which would have been a nice touch.

We loved the serene beauty of this farm retreat. The comfortable bedrooms and quality linen made for a restful stay. The host, Trish, was caring and generous, attending to all our needs. The breakfast provisions were excellent, with a wide variety of fresh fruit, cereals, and pastries. The farm tour was informative and fascinating, and we couldn't resist falling in love with the alpacas. The location is also great, with plenty of good eating options nearby.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
